Black Beans are a nutrition powerhouse. The hard to get Detox Mineral, Molybdenum is found in beans as well as LOTS of Vitamins, Minerals and Phytonutrients!

Get the dry beans (from the bulk bins if possible) and soak them overnight. This is cheaper and doesn’t contain the BPA and metals found in cans.

MEXICAN BLACK BEANS

Ingredients:

1. 1 cup organic black (also called turtle) beans
2. Farm raised bacon fat while cooking beans or organic olive oil after beans are cooked   (Google the olive oil fiasco to find out about fake pure olive oil)

3. Himalaya or natural salt to taste.

1. Wash beans, then soak them in filtered water for 5 hours or overnight.

2. Strain, then transfer beans to a cooking pot. Add enough cold water to cover beans.

3.Boil or cook on low heat until beans are soft. Don’t add any salt until cooked.

4. Strain, put into bowl and add the rest of the ingredients

KOREAN  BLACK BEANS

Ingredients:

1 cup Organic black (also called turtle) beans
3 tablespoons organic soy sauce (all non organic soy is GMO)
1 teaspoon roasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon raw honey (many honeys now are not honey, there is a big corn syrup honey fiasco you can google)
1 tablespoon organic sesame oil

Himalaya or natural salt to taste.

Directions:

1. Wash beans, then soak them in filtered water for 5 hours or overnight.

2. Strain, then transfer beans to a cooking pot. Add enough cold water to cover beans.

3.Boil or cook on low heat until beans are soft. Don’t add any salt until cooked.

4. Strain, put into bowl and dd the rest of the ingredients

Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Eat with rice and salad!
