Detox Baths

  • by

Most of us have hundreds of toxins, heavy metals and plastics in our bodies causing cancer, obesity, heart disease, impotence, depression, anxiety, jpoin pain, infertility, candida, digestive issues, bad skin and a host of other modern ailments, in my case Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. To be healthy it is imperative to learn many detoxing basics.

The skin is a detox organ. Rashes are one way your skin detoxes.

The Detox Bath is a gentle relaxing and effective detox. You can do it every day or now and then as needed. Not only does it release toxins from the body it is an excellent way to receive nutrients into your body. For example, Epsom salts is a great way to supplement magnesium. Many digestive systems are weak or damaged and the skin is an excellent way to get nutrients.

I use the shower to fill the tub, because I have a chlorine filter. They also sell bathtub water filters.

High quality bath mixtures are quite expensive, I believe Whole Foods sells some really nice ones.

However, the best quality is the one you make yourself and is pennies per bath.

You can make a mixture and store it for further use, but I generally just put the ingredients directly in the tub.

Use one or as many as you want:

Epsom Salts

Himalayan Pink Salt or other sea salt

baking soda

Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

Probiotics

Coconut Oil

Olive Oil

I add essential oils and may keep adding them through out the bath. What is inhaled through the nose goes directly into the blood stream and often to the brain. I love Lemon, Eucalyptus, Clove Oil, Orange, Lavendar, Cardamom, Rose etc….

This relaxing detox bath will refresh and rejuvenate you!

Do “Dry Skin Brushing” before you bathe and the detox will be that much more.
