Juicing for Nutrients and Detox

Juicing helps release nutrients in a more digestible form and is one of the best ways to detox and cleanse your body.

Juices from fruits and vegetables contain many beneficial nutrients which encourage healing and cell renewal.  With juicing, nutrients are made available to the body in an easily digestible form.  Many (even seemingly healthy people) people today do not have effective digestion and do not extract the nutrients from foods due to Leaky Gut.  Juice bypasses the  digestive system and the nutrients go straight into the blood.  Juice is complete with enzymes, vitamins, minerals  and phytonutrients.  Many people have recovered from cancer, diabetes and every disease using the juice as the foundation of healing.

Juicing is one of the most effective ways to detox, renew cells, cleanse the liver and other organs. If you have MCS or any other severe toxin issue, I don’t advise juice fasts right away as you can release toxins into the blood too fast and have a healing crisis or Herxheimer-Reaction.

 Carrot juice is a good place to start. It is cheap, delicious energy boost full of vitamins B and C, minerals, calcium.  It also has an alkalizing effect. Carrot is the golden standard of healing juice and a few glasses a day can heal a variety of illnesses.

Parsley is full of chlorophyll, cleans the kidneys, the urinary tract and stimulates digestive enzymes. It’s excellent for the colon.

Celery is full of magnesium, chlorophyll and iron, and can cleanse the body of carbon dioxide (good for people living in polluted cities).

Cabbage Juice doesn’t taste as bad as it sounds and is known to cure cancer, detox the body, heal the digestive tract and is full of vitamins and minerals.

Wheat Grass is a whole post in itself and there are books written about it. It is famous for curing cancer, and every other illness.  I have a hand crank wheat grass juicer. It works well. Wheat grass juicers are very expensive.  I was growing grass for a while. You can’t put it into a regular juicer

Some people say don’t add fruits and vegetables. While there is science behind this,  I say you have to like the juice in order to keep drinking it, so do what you can.
